In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered Aug. 3 in a case initiated in district court against Chelsey Regan Phipps of Grand Junction. Phipps was granted a deferred judgment after she pleaded guilty to a charge of theft-fifth degree, amended from theft-fourth degree. A judgment was entered for a $65 civil penalty, a $125 Law Enforcement Initiative surcharge, a $5 county surcharge and $300 restitution. She was placed on probation to the Community Services coordinator for one year. Court costs were $156.04.
A judgment was entered against Craig Allen Kinsey of Jefferson in a case initiated in district court after he pleaded guilty to a charge of assault-simple, amended from domestic abuse assault impeding flow of air/blood. He was fined $100 with a $35 surcharge, a $125 LEI surcharge and a $5 county surcharge. Court costs were $156.50
A judgment was entered against Tod Lynn Rickels of Perry after he pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal mischief- fourth degree in district court to an amended charge of criminal mischief- fifth degree. He was fined 465 with a $22.75 surcharge and a $5 county surcharge. Rickels must pay $315.65 restitution and $211.74 court costs.
